Meet Dorri

Dorri Li is a martial arts expert and fitness innovator. Dorri was a co-founder of the Boston Kung Fu Tai Chi Institute and developer of the Kung Fu Step Workout series. She has provided tai chi, kung fu, and wellness instruction at North Kansas City Hospital, Cerner Corporation, MIT, and the cities of Cambridge and Independence.

She designed and taught tai chi programs for research studies at Tufts Medical, Harvard Medical, and the Veteran’s Administration on chronic health conditions including fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis of the knee, fall prevention, and PTSD. Her hybrid martial arts and fitness workouts have been reviewed in Shape, Fitness Magazine, and she has been a national presenter at the Inner IDEA Conference for Fitness Professionals.

With over 40 years of experience, Dorri has worked with countless students to build their physical strength and personal power.
